Senior Band is the premiere ensemble of Sutherland Shire Brass and comprises all players over 19 years and Youth Band members of sufficient standard. A leading brass band in New South Wales, the Senior Band performs in many marches, playouts and concerts and regularly competes in State and National Championships. The Senior Band has enjoyed success in State Band competitions and individual competitions in the past.We look forward to more achievements in the future.

The Senior Band rehearses every Monday evening from 7.55pm to 10.00pm under the direction of Andy Yule and guest conductors.

We're looking for experienced musicians who are:

• 19 years of age or older
• Play a brass or percussion instruments
• Support the aims and objectives of a community band
• Want to have fun as well as compete in Graded competitions
• Will commit to attend rehearsals and engagements

• Most sections, including Tuba (Basses) and Trombone. Other positions are also available.
